In this program, five to eight families take part together in a supportive group setting. MFT-AN combines Family Based Treatment (FBT-AN) with group therapy.

The program helps families:

  • feel less alone
  • connect with other families going through similar experiences
  • share ideas and practical strategies
  • learn new ways to support their young person’s recovery.

A key benefit of MFT-AN is that families can learn from and support each other throughout treatment.

To learn more about the benefits of MFT-AN, watch this video by Professor Ivan Eisler, co-developer of MFT-AN.
