The Queensland Centre for Perinatal and Infant Mental Health provides mental health services for children and families living in northern Brisbane. Referrals are accepted from health professionals and service providers.

QCPIMH also provides leadership, advocacy, professional development and support for health professionals, to promote the mental health and emotional wellbeing of families across Queensland.

Zero to Four Child and Youth Mental Health Service

Zero to Four Child and Youth Mental Health Service (Zero to Four CYMHS) is a specialised mental health service for infants and young children from zero to four years who are not yet at school. Services are provided by a team of mental health clinicians including psychiatrists, psychologists, mental health nurses, social workers, speech pathologists, and occupational therapists. Families living in Brisbane and Pine Rivers can access the service.

Zero to Four CYMHS accepts referrals:
• For infants and young children experiencing emotional and/or behavioural difficulties to the degree that their social, emotional or developmental wellbeing is at risk
• For infants and young children where the relationship between them and their parents is hard, and spending time together is not enjoyable
• For women and their families who are struggling to develop a positive relationship with the unborn baby

Zero to Four Family Support Service

Zero to Four Family Support Service provides volunteer support workers who visit families in their homes to help parents create a safe and positive family environment. Family support volunteers assist families by reducing social isolation through linking them to community supports such as playgroups, day cares and community centres. Families living in northern and western Brisbane, including Pine Rivers, can access Zero to Four Family Support Service.
