Australia Zoo’s newest Sumatran tiger cubs Delilah and Scout were on the prowl in the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital today, giving patients and families a special encounter they won’t soon forget.

Metro South Hospital and Health Service has confirmed a case of measles involving a traveller spending time in Brisbane in recent days.

Measles complications are more common and more severe in people with a chronic illness and very young children.

Measles is one of the most infectious of all communicable diseases and can cause fever, cough, runny nose, then a red spotty rash and sore eyes a few days later.
