You can register your interest to be a consumer advisor. As a consumer advisor, you'll help us plan, design and deliver better health services for children and young people. Children’s Health Queensland (CHQ) consumer advisors are people with lived experience of CHQ services as a parent, carer, sibling or former patient.
Who can not apply
The following people are not able to be a CHQ consumer advisor:
- Current employees of CHQ, including staff in lived experience positions and peer workers.
- Contractors and consultants of CHQ.
- Active union leaderships roles or advocacy positions.
- Lobbyists.
- Consumers with a current or unresolved grievance with CHQ.
