Children’s Health Queensland seeks continuous improvement in the delivery of emergency and intensive care, medicine and surgery to ensure children and young people receive the best-possible health outcomes. Through our research and clinical trials, we are helping to provide the better care through improved diagnosis, novel treatments, and strategies to prevent complications of injury and illness. Our specific areas of focus include intensive care, emergency medicine, infectious diseases, burns and trauma, cardiology and cardiac surgery, diabetes and endocrinology, metabolic medicine, neurology and neurodevelopmental paediatrics, oncology, orthopaedics, and respiratory medicine.
