Clinical trials and research studies
Children’s Health Queensland coordinates and participates in a number of trials aimed at improving health outcomes for our patients. These trials include new drug therapies, innovations in surgical procedures, using new medical devices or existing equipment in different ways, combining treatments, and other adaptations to existing care models.
Clinical trials and research studies are essential in providing children with the best possible healthcare. By being part of one of these trials you can help us improve the way we prevent, detect and treat illness and injury.
