Research and Evaluation

The Queensland Centre for Perinatal and Infant Mental Health conducts research and evaluation activities that support the following strategic directions for perinatal and infant mental health in Queensland:

  • Service development and implementation
  • Mental health promotion, prevention and early intervention
  • Workforce development
  • Advocacy and policy development

Research and evaluation in perinatal and infant mental health is one of QCPIMH’s five strategic directions. QCPIMH staff present at local, national and international conferences, and participate in forums to build the evidence base and encourage implementation of evidence-based practice in perinatal and infant mental health.

Further information on QCPIMH’s research and evaluation activities can be found on the CHQ Research page.
